Unlike programs created by politicians, churches, or criminal justice professionals, our program's creator, Kelvin Collier, has lived through the system. After spending two and a half decades in prison, Kelvin obtained a degree, numerous certifications, and played a pivotal role in starting programs that benefited incarcerated individuals.

He has a proven track record of working with at-risk youth, advocating for better futures, and showcasing the potential within every person. His contributions include a decade of service to the Arkansas School for the Visually Impaired, five years at the Arkansas Governor's Mansion, and initiating the state's first Inside/Out program at Wrightsville, which connects criminal justice students with incarcerated individuals.

Since his release, Kelvin has continued his education in engineering technology, has worked as an engineer, and is now pursuing a law degree, aiming to earn his Juris Doctorate by 2031.
